Students are responsible for purchasing their own required class supplies & textbooks.

TARFF - Program/Project Title: Tuition Assistance for Rural and Farm Families, those closely associated to agricultural activities, and residents of small rural communities.
Description: TARFF is a student loan program started in July 1997 to supplement existing loan and/or grant programs or can replace other loan programs. Although loan amounts are determined from amount(s) of tuition and/or books and required equipment for classes, the borrower is free to use the funds for any school related expenses not met by the programs. Interest rate is 8% with prompt pay bonus options for early payment or extended good repayment. There is no maximum loan amount or minimum attendance requirement.

Fall: Starting October, 2024
Spring: Starting April, 2025
If the class for which you applied is full, you will receive priority in the next available class.
Solara Wellness reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a class if it does not meet our minimum attendance requirements.
Program Requirements
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent diploma by the start of class. (A copy of your transcripts will be required)
Be physically capable to perform massage therapy and bodywork
Be free of communicable diseases
Agree, sign and comply with student handbook and enrollment contract
Agree to comply with professional and ethical standards of practice
Submit two letters of recommendation that verify sound moral character
Be a us citizen legally entitled to live and work in the United States
Pass a criminal background check (Required for state massage or healthcare license)
Be of good moral character and conduct
Cancellation, Withdrawal and Refund Policy
Application fee is non-refundable.
All tuition fees paid by the applicant shall be refunded if requested in writing within 3 days after signing an enrollment contract with the school (Returned within 30 days of cancellation of the contract). After 12am on the third day, all tuition is non-refundable. If the student cannot attend the enrolled program date, tuition paid may be used towards a future program at Solara Wellness for 18 months from the original enrollment contract. Future programs are subject to tuition increases. If a student cannot attend a scheduled class, a written notice must be given 14 days prior to the class date. If the notice is not received 14 days prior to the class date, an additional $100 retake fee is required to make-up the class, the next time it is available.
