Solara Wellness Massage Program Required Supplies Checklist 

All students are responsible for purchasing the following supplies.

  • Linens and Table Supplies

    Required by the second day of class:

    • Six complete linen sets minimum
    • Eight to ten sets are strongly recommended for consecutive clinic days or reduced laundry frequency
    • Each set must include one fitted sheet, one flat sheet, and one pillowcase or washable face cradle cover
    • Sheets must be single, twin, or massage table size in solid medium to dark colors
    • One additional pillowcase or one face cradle cover per set
    • Two kitchen or utility towels, approximately 30 to 36 inches long
    • Four hand towels, approximately 16 by 27 inches
    • One pillow
    • One zippered pillow protector
    • One washable cotton or cotton blend blanket suitable for a massage table

    Students must bring enough clean linens for all scheduled classroom practicals and clinic appointments.

    Clinic Attire

    • Two pairs minimum of full length, solid scrub pants in neutral, black, or Caribbean blue
    • Two solid scrub tops minimum
    • Closed toe, comfortable shoes in a neutral color

    Suggested scrub retailer: Mandala Scrubs
    Suggested shoes: Skechers or similar

    Classroom and Clinic Supplies

    • One clipboard with a printed copy of the Student Handbook attached
    • Paper or notepad and writing instruments
    • One lotion holster and bottle
    • One bottle of unscented, hypoallergenic massage lotion, at least 8 ounces, such as BodyMed or Sacred Earth
    • One box of nitrile gloves

    Massage tables may be purchased used if they are clean, stable, undamaged, and have an appropriate working weight capacity.
